No analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels, and no consent banner — because there is nothing to consent to.
Why there is no banner
Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, consent is required before storing or accessing information on your device — unless it is strictly necessary to provide a service you asked for. We store nothing at all on this website, so the question does not arise.
The banner you see on most sites exists because those sites are measuring you. We are not, so putting one here would be theatre — a click asking permission for something that is not happening.
What we don't do, specifically
- No analytics. No Google Analytics, no Plausible, no Fathom, nothing. We do not know how many people read this page
- No advertising or retargeting pixels. Nothing from Meta, LinkedIn, Google Ads or anyone else. You will not be followed around the internet by us
- No session recording or heatmaps
- No A/B testing tools
- No embedded social or video players, which are cookie-setting in disguise
The commission calculator runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type into it is stored, transmitted or seen by us.
The one thing that does leave your browser
Fonts. The typefaces on this site are currently served from Google Fonts and Fontshare, which means your browser makes a request to those services and they will see your IP address.
This is not a cookie, but it is a data transfer, and it would be misleading to publish a page like this without mentioning it. We are moving to self-hosted fonts, at which point nothing at all leaves your browser on this website.

The product is a different matter
Everything above is about this public website. The Hanna applications — the point of sale, the kitchen screen, the staff app and the manager tools — are software you log into, and they use strictly necessary cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to hold a session together during service.
Those are necessary to provide a service you have explicitly asked for, so they do not require consent either. They are covered in your contract and in the privacy notice rather than here. No analytics or advertising cookies are set in the applications either.
If this changes
At some point we may want to know which pages are read. If we add anything that stores information on your device beyond what is strictly necessary, we will ask you first, this page will change, and the change will be dated.
We would rather add privacy-respecting analytics that need no consent than a banner, and if we cannot do it without one we will probably do without the numbers.
